The Carderock Division Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Solartron Inc. The contractor shall provide one Multichannel Potentiostat, for a 1480 Multistat including 147001A eight main cables, USB148010C Multistat Corrware/Zplot, and 560 001 160 GPIB-USB Interface Card. The item requested from Solarton is a multichannel electrochemical cycling device that is necessary for capacitor study that allows for impedance measurement from frequency 10uHz to 1MHz testing as well as the standard electrochemical tests. The system is able to integrate impedance testing (up to 1MHz) over a wide frequency range with standard charge/discharge cycle testing. The 1MHz is very important characteristic for our capacitor work. No substitutes are acceptable.
