NASA/JSC has a requirement for NEGATIVE POSITIVE NEGATIVE (NPN) TRANSISTORS.NASA/JSC intends to purchase the items from Solid State Devices Inc. The performancerequirements for the NPN Transistor, are NPN construction, operation at 5 amps across 250to 350 VDC, power dissipation up to 50W, TO-254 packaging, and screening to TX Level(SPT6235/MTX) and S Level (SPT6235/S). Solid State Devices Inc is the only manufactureroffering a component that meets the Government's requirements. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing via email to Wendy Crisman at [email protected] not later than3:30 p.m. local time on August 27, 2010. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determiningwhether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
