The Government intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106(b), Soliciting from a Single Source; to Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. (CAGE: 82199) of Columbia, MD for a quantity of one each of portable receivers and antennas (portable receiver and accessories: PR100, PR100-FP, PR100-FS, PR100-RC, PR100-IR, PR100-PS, PR100-GPS; antenna and accessories: HE300, HE300HF, HF907DC, HF907DC-K1, HF907DC-Z1, HZ-1). Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the required portable receivers and antennas which is the standard equipment used by the DoD and the US Army. Due to specific mission and equipment requirements, no other brand name manufacturer exists that can provide the required software & hardware options compatible with the US Army developed spectrum analysis software currently being used.
