The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for the acquisition of (90) ninety, Skywave DMR-200/BHG (Bottom entry) InMarsat D+ Transceivers, with custom scripting to allow DMR-200C’s to communicate with the existing system. The existing system should be modified to enable DMR satellite modems with specialized software scripts to communicate with the server over the Inmarsat network. The modems should have an emergency triggering device, which causes the modem to transmit its position with multiple attempts. Day-to-day reporting and polling shall also be supported, providing mobile asset tracking with world-wide coverage. It is anticipated that a sole source purchase order will be awarded to Datalink Systems Inc., as specified in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 513340 and the size standard is $12.5. All interested parties may submit a quote, that will be evaluated. Responses must be in writing and submitted to the contracting official listed above, eight calendar days after publication of this notice, 3:00 p.m., September 22, 2003.
