This system is being procured in support of the AIR-4.5 Avionics Division. It has been determined that no other system is capable of meeting the Government?s minimum requirements. Specifically, the Government requires a system capable of meeting the electromagnetic compatibility testing in accordance with military standards MIL-STD-461 Revisions C-E. The system must have a frequency range of 9kHz to 7 GHz; functionality as both a true spectrum analyzer and test receiver (simulated spectrum analysis is not acceptable); Parallel Max peak, quasi peak, average and RMS detectors; built in preselector (9kHz to 7 GHz); built in preamplifier (9kHz to 7 GHz) selectable gain to at least 20 dB; built in tracking generator for 9kHz to 7 GHz frequency coverage; and built in internal tracking generator attenuator for 0 dBm to -70 dBm operation.
