COMBAT VISUAL CENTER (SOUND EFFECT SIMULATOR) Solicitation Number: M67399-06-Q-0015 Description Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to LOCKHEED MARTIN SIMULATION, TRAINING AND SUPPORT for the procurement of a Sound Effect Simulator (Quantity: 5). The sound effects simulator (SES) is a digital, audio message repeater system used to record and replicate realistic battlefield sounds for training military personnel. This proposed contract action is for training for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and a capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
