NA The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Virginia intends to purchase one (1) Microwave RF Source 1-2 GHz traveling wave tube amplifier with the following technical specifications: Power (Fundamental) @ Output Connector: 240-Watt nominal, 200-Watt minimum. Linear @ 1DB Compression: 100 Watts minimum. Flatness (at rated power): + 5db maximum. Frequency response: 1.0 to 2.0 GHz instantaneously. Input for rated output: 1.0 milliwatt maximum. Gain (at maximum setting): 53DB minimum. Gain adjustment (continuous range): 35DB minimum. Input impedance: 50 Ohms, VSWR 2.0:1 maximum. Output impedance: 50 Ohms, VSWR 2.5:1 typical. Mismatch tolerance: Output power foldback protection at reflected power exceeding 40 watts. Operate without damage or oscillation with any magnitude and phase of source and load impedance. Modulation capability: Unit s hall faithfully reproduce AM, FM, or pulse modulation appearing on the input signal. Noise power density shall be -72dbm/Hz maximum, -77 dbm/Hz typical. Harmonic distortion shall be -4dbc maximum, -6dbc typical. Primary power: 190-260 VAC, 50/60 Hz single phase, 2.5 KVA maximum. Unit shall be force air cooled through self-contained fans. Connectors shall consist of the following: RF Input - Type N female on rear panel; RF Output - Type N female on rear panel; RF Output Sample Port - Type N female on rear panel; Interlock - DB-15 female on rear panel. GPIB - IEEE-488. Maximum weight shall not exceed 130 lbs. Maximum size (HWD) shall not exceed 20"x12"x27". The warranty shall extend for a minimum of 1 calendar year from the time of purchase on all components. This award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Quotes will not be considered respon sive unless offerors include concise and complete descriptive technical literature with their quotation to authenticate the technical capabilities for the traveling wave tube microwave amplifier offered.
