The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure various electronic parts in various quantities, including but not limited to circuit card assemblies, terminals, relays, cables, and back plane assemblies in support of the Army’s Bridge Erection Boats. All parts are manufactured by Modicon, Subsidiary of AEG. It is the Government’s belief that only Modicon, and/or their authorized distributors, possess the technical and engineering data required to successfully manufacture these parts, therefore, it is intended tosolicit ONLY Modicon and/or their authorized distributors. NO ALTERNATE OF EQUAL PART NUMBERS SHALL BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS PROCUREMENT. Interested sources that possess the capabilities of obtaining the required technical, engineering and manufacturing data from Modicon, and possess the capabilities of manufacturing these parts can submit information regarding their capabilities. This information must include (1) complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e., salient physical, functional, and serviceability characteristics), or (2) data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or Modicon. THIS INFORMATION MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN TEN (10) WORKING DAYS FROM THE DATE THIS NOTICE IS PUBLISHED. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this purchase order. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited.
