The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 22 Network Business Center intends to procure NI-CAD Batteries from FMC Technologies, Inc. in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This procurement is for 6 EA NI-CAD Batteries, P/N 3060-011-A for the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System, 11201 Benton Street, Loma Linda, CA. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting their request in writing with complete name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and a point of contact. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider all quotes received by 4:00 pm, August 28, 2003. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
