The Connecticut National Guard is seeking small business contractors who are capable of providing and installing three (3) RV Style Gas Generators on RV style trailers located at a CT Army National Guard facility in Windsor Locks, CT 06096. Installation would include mounting and hard wiring the Generators into existing breaker boxes inspected and tested to Specifications. The required Specifications for the Generators are as follows:

- Enclosed quiet, critical grade muffler. Muffler mounted inside the unit to prevent injuries while stationary or in transit.
- Each unit will include service manuals and repair and replacement parts catalogs.
- Due to the unique nature of this project the size and weight are parameters that are not flexible. This unit must be rugged and durable its sole purpose is to provide a dependable source of power.

The generators will be used in a military environment. Any products proposed in response to this notice will be thoroughly evaluated to determine compliance with the specifications; therefore, submissions must include sufficient data (brochures, cutsheets, dimensions, product data, etc.) to make the determination. Products submitted that do not clearly demonstrate compliance will not be considered. In the event the generators can be obtained under General Service Administration (GSA) contract, please indicate the GSA contract number.

This will be Small Business (SB) Set-Aside. The Government reserves the right to decide whether or not an SB Set-Aside is appropriate based on responses to this notice. The planned NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) code for this requirement is 335312 with a business size standard of 1,000 employees. Companies responding to this notice must indicate their size status. Note: NAICS 335312 is not waived under the Small Business Administration's Nonmanufacturer Rule, thus, if an SB Set-Aside is deemed appropriate, an SB will be required to furnish a product manufactured by itself or another SB.

All interested Small Business concerns shall provide in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a bid no later than 4 p.m., 25 April 2013. This notification, which shall not exceed five (5) typewritten pages, must include:
(1) Positive statement of intent to bid.
(2) A completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form (attached).

Contractors should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer, in writing as early as possible, but no later than 4 p.m., 25 April 2013.
