This solicitation is for a multiple-year Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) for the acquisition of the following: 6140-01-281-3350 (BATTERY, STORAGE) not to exceed 48 months or $150,000.00, whichever occurs first. This solicitation will be available for download on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/on or 9/19/2013; however, **DIBBS quotations are not acceptable for this solicitation.** Quotes must be submitted on hard copy of the RFQ and either faxed to the attention of Lisa Kowalczyk at 614-693-1603, or scanned and emailed to [email protected]. NOTE: Though this is an RFQ, the solicitation can only be found by searching the RFQ/IFB Database in DIBBS. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered.

The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 4 years. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
