SYNOPSIS: The Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to furnish and replace fluorescent lamps and compact fluorescent lamps in all offices, garages, elevators, tunnels, corridors, cafeterias, shops, attic spaces, storage rooms, telephone booths, and etc. in the Library of Congress Buildings, Senate Office Buildings, Police Headquarters, and the House Office Buildings without jeopardizing existing occupant areas or missions. Clean all fixtures, housing, reflectors, lenses, (Glass, acrylic, parabolic or other) prior to replacement of lamps; Replace burned out end sockets and ballasts, remove and reinstall any sleeves, UV shield, wire guards or otherwise found, shatterproof protective shield for workshop, cafeteria and display cases. Some fixture types require disassembly to perform maintenance function (vaporproof, jelly jars, HIDs, etc.). There is no charge for the solicitation documents.
