The goal of this Request for Proposals (RFP) process is to select a qualified Proposer with demonstrated wisdom and experience in utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to develop a solar PV Project of up to 500 MW. The Project will be located within the exterior boundaries of the Kansas City International Airport (MCI) property located in northwest Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri. MCI will benefit from land lease income and enhanced environmental sustainability efforts for the community, and MCI may receive/purchase energy produced by the Project.
