This project consist of removing a large rock slide approximately 700 cubic yards at MP 0.47 on the 6334 road and using the material to construct riprap wall embankment repairs on six sites on the 6330 road and on one site on the 6334 road. Constructing new armored drivable drain dips and improving existing drain dips, a total of thirteen. Removing slough and slide material from the ditchline and travelway and incorporating this material into the repairs of the embankments. Cleaning the ditchline and blading the final surface of the road. Logging out the road to access the site. Mobilization and traffic signing. To access the location from Highway 2 take the Beckler Road, Forest Service Road 65 over Jacks Pass, travel 14.9 miles to the 63 road. Travel 5.6 miles to the 6335 road near old town site of Galena. Travel 0.15 to intersection and beginning of project 6330 Road. The GovernmentÂs estimated price is between $25,000 and $100,000. Project shall be completed by September 30, 2008.
