The primary object of the Northport Station Passenger Platform Replacement project is to bring the existing platform to a state of good repair by replacing the platform slabs, platform railings, shelter sheds, replace lighting and upgrade to LED, repairs to the platform substructure, addition of an ADA ramp, ensure ADA-compliant accessibility to the platform and provide C&D passengers with an improved station environment. Respondents with current contracts to perform work on MTA projects must be in good standing and satisfactorily progressing the work on such contracts to be deemed qualified to participate in the solicitation for the Contracts.
