The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Eastern Colorado Health Care System Denver VA Medical Center (VAMC) and The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 are performing market research to determine if there are sufficient number of qualified (1) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business; (2) Veteran Owned Small Business; or (3) Small Business to set aside Firm Fixed Price a Gynecologic and Non-Gynecologic Cytology Testing supplies contract. The Government will use responses to this notice to make the appropriate acquisition decision. The selected contractor shall provide the following reagents and supplies required to perform gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology testing for the Denver VAMC. All reagents and supplies must be FDA approved for use on the ThinPrep processor for gynecologic and non-gynecologic testing. The ThinPrep pap test kit must be FDA approved for reflex testing for HPV DNA testing; also the reagents and supplies shall be FDA approved for use on the Thin Prep Processor. The quality of the reagents shall be high enough to satisfy proficiency testing standards of the CAP, CLIA, and the Joint Commission. Also, a warranty (product replacement) is required for reagents and/or consumables found to be defective and unsuitable for use with the Thin Prep Processor. Finally, the contractor must be certified to ship hazardous substances. The total contract period shall be one base year and four (4) inclusive option year periods not to exceed five (5) years. The total contract amount, including all options years, shall not exceed $235,205.00. This contemplated solicitation will be evaluated based on best value determination in terms of past performance, and technical capabilities in accordance with FAR 13.
