VISN 22, Network 22 Logistics Office, intends to procure, on an other than full and open competitive basis to the following: Biomerieux Inc. 100 Roldolphe Street, Durham, NC. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for Detection of patient Deep-vein Thromboembolism and Pulmonary Embolism testing with ELFA method to include DDimer Test Kit, Testing strips, QCV Kit with >99% NPV that will be processed through Biomerieux DDimer instrument. A justification for other than full and open competition is being prepared in support of this acquisition. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is for the Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90073, F.O.B. Destination. The intended contract will be for a base period of one-year with the government’s option to extend the contract in one-year increments for two option periods. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
