This is a Request for Information. Accordingly the Governments intent is to conduct market research and provide notice to industry of its intent to solicit for certain services. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport, LA has a requirement for 2ea Audiology Testing Booths The anticipated NAICS code is 334510 All respondents please advise if your organization is a distributor of requested equipment or a manufacturer of requested equipment. This procurement will include purchase and installation of the booths at OBVAMC Shreveport. The booths should meet the specifications below which are equal to the ETS-Lindgren model RS-244
Set-Asides At this time the government is requesting information in order to provide a final determination related to set aside. Upon review of the market research and coordination of appropriate parties a determination will be made. If the requirement is set-aside quotes must clearly demonstrate the prime contractor will perform at least 51% of all work.

Salient Requirements of Audiometric Sound Booth
Double Wall Control, Double Wall Exam Suites - audiometric sound booth - sound-controlled room that meets Booth Audiometric Examination Specifications (IB 11-78) for construction, fire protection, acoustic performance, and electromagnetic shielding and Maximum Permissible Ambient Noise Levels for Audiometric Test Rooms (ANSI s3.1-1999, Appendix 5). An item known to meet these specifications is the ETS-Lindgren RS-244.
