This acquisition will be sole-sourced (under an approved Justification and Approval) to Depuy Orthopaedics, Inc. Depuy is the only known business able to provide these supplies and replacement parts. NCO 18 is planning an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the recurring need of drill/reamer parts and supplies for the Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care System (SAVAHCS) in Tucson, Arizona, including 4 option years. Description of required equipment: This procurement provides new supplies and parts for the Depuy drill/reamer system. Some of the items needed include saw blades, pin packs, guide wires, drill bits, K-wires, point wires and femoral trial extractors. This drill/reamer equipment and the supplies are exchanged for each surgical procedure and are used for orthopedic procedures of the knee, hip and other joints. These parts and supplies are needed on a recurring basis and are not known in advance; therefore, an IDIQ contract is requested in order to provide them on an as-needed basis. All items must be compatible with the Deput reamer system owned by the SAVAHCS.
