The VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with TECHNICAL COMMUNITIES, an authorized distributor of LUMENIS. The proposed contract action is for the purchase of Lumenis AcuPulse 40 ST DUO C02 Laser bundle to be used in conjunction with the existing Lumenis Smart CO2 technology and Digital Acublade, and existing ENT laryngoscopes and microscopes currently in use at the VA Fresno. This sole source action is in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
