The James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital, Tampa, FL intends to issue a sole source Request For Proposal to Datex-Ohmeda for 3 each, Aestiva/5 7900 Configuration, Anesthesia Machines to augment the Anestesiology Service consisting of other Datex-Ohmeda systems. NAICS: 339112. The Government believes that Datex-Ohmeda is the only manufacturer that will satisfy the agency requirements. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, 38 U.S.C. 8153 and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes, however; any firm that believes that it can meet the specifications above may give written notification to the Contracting Officer, James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, FL 33612, within seven (7) days from the date of publication of this synopsis.
