This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number VA257-14-Q-0705 is issued as a request for quote. Solicitation VA257-14-Q-0705 incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. This requirement is for 1 Each Ankle Arthroscopy Set, Arthrex Inc. Part Number: AR-8655S, or equal. Please see the attachment for a description of the ankle arthroscopy set. Offerors that submit a quote with other than the brand name Arthrex Inc. must submit the specifications of the item(s) offered with their quote. Any alternative set or items offered must the meet the size and material specifications of the brand name set requested. A technical evaluation will be performed on alternative items offered and those found not to be of the same specifications will be considered technically unacceptable and the offer will not be considered for award. The F.O.B. point for this requirement is destination and the delivery location is: Department of Veterans Affairs Central Texas Veterans Health Care System 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive Temple, TX 76504 The delivery term for this requirement is within thirty (30) days After Receipt of Order (ARO).
