The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) and FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and Compelling Urgency . 1 each patient specific Anterior Cervical Plate system consisting of 6 each XTEND 4.2mm variable angle screw, self-drilling, 14mm, part #: 161.014; 1 each XTEND anterior cervical plate, 3 level, 48mm, part #: 161.348 and 1 each VIP 4.6mm variable angle screw, self-drilling, 14mm, part #: 171.014.
1 each Anterior Cervical Plate system consisting of 4 each XTEND 4.2mm variable angle screws, self drilling, 14mm, part #: 161.014; 1 each XTEND anterior cervical plate, extra Lordotic, 1-level, 12mm, part #: 161.132.
1 each Colonial ACDF Spacer Body, X-large, Lordotic, 6mm, part #: 365.706.
Vendor representative will be required to be present during all surgical procedures.
This is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. However, companies that can provide an equal or like product must submit their technical capabilities to include technical specifications of their product, past performance information to include product research and technical and peer published reviews, price and delivery time within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. This information will be technically reviewed by the Director of the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program and Chief, Spinal Reconstructive Surgery, from Eisenhower Army Medical Center for consideration for future requirements. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
