The Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled (Committee) is seeking commercial sources for Gloves, Patient Examination and Treatment, Powder-free, Non-sterile. A JWOD associated nonprofit agency is interested in buying gloves in bulk directly from manufacturers, to be packaged by persons who are blind or visually impaired. Latex, nitrile, and vinyl glove sources are being sought. All gloves must 1) conform to the most current version of the following standards: ASTM D3578 (latex), ASTM D5250 (vinyl), ASMT D6319 (nitrile), ASTM D5712 (latex), ASTM D6499 (latex), ASTM D5151, ASTM F739, and ASTM D6124 (testing reports will be required). 2) be available in sizes from extra small (70mm) to extra large (110mm). 3) have tensile strength greater than or equal to 9MPa for vinyl, 14MPa for nitrile, and 14MPa for latex (testing report will be required). 4) elongation percentage must be greater than or equal to 300% for vinyl, 400% for nitrile, and 500% for latex (testing report will be required). 5) be powder-free (conform to ASTM Standard D6124). 6) report modulus in GPa or MPa. 7) have conforming cuffs that conpletely contact the arm. 8) be color coded for type of glove (the three different glove types (latex, vinyl, nitrile) must be provided in different, distinct colors for ease of identification). 9) dispensing boxes (in bulk) must be non-corrugated and boxes must be color coded for size. 10) gloves must be available in both textured and smooth varieties for all three types (latex, finyl, nitrile)of gloves.
