This Notice of Intent is provided to advise that the Government intends to award a sole source contract to e3/HCI Audiometrics for audiology equipment including a GSI audiostar pro audiometer, a Maico MI21 impedance screener, an Audioscan verifit 2 hearing aid analyzer and a GSI tympstar pro middle ear analyzer for the San Jose CBOC located in San Jose, CA. This s action is being sole sources to e3/HCI Audiometrics for the following reason: e3/HCI Audiometrics is the only vendor authorized to provide and install the above equipment to the VA Palo Alto HCS, specifically the San Jose CBOC. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. This notice allows potential contractors/vendors to submit a non-binding statement of interest and documentation demonstrating their capability including the ability to sell and install ALL of the above equipment. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement.
