The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, Hampton VA 23667, intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price Contract for an upgrade to the Richmond VA Medical Center s existing Autonome System with Accessibility Services, Inc. in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 3304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source. This is not a request for competitive offers and no solicitation is available. Market research has determined that these services are highly specialized are only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to award the contract with an effective date of 24 Sep 2018 to Accessibility Services, Inc., 6241 S Tex Pt, Homosassa, FL 34448-5923, Cage Code 4U1K2. This is a Brand Name Only requirement for an upgrade of the existing Autonome System with in the infrastructure of the Richmond VA Medical Center. Accessibility Services, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and asserts to retaining sole distribution rights and by default is a sole source for this requirement.
