The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 intends negotiate a sole source agreement with Biosense Webster, In., 3333 S Diamond Canyon Road, Diamond Bar, CA. 91765-4701 for Medical/ Surgical items listed in this notice for the North Texas Veterans Health Care System (NTXVHCS) located at 4500 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas Texas 75216. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C.253 (c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The described services fulfills a recurring need for supplies and services for use at the North Texas Veteran Health Care System and only Biosene Webster Corp. can fulfill this requirement. No other company is expected to respond to this requirement. Biosene Webster is the sole proprietary manufacturer and does not use distributors or sub-license for any portion of this service.
