Under Statutory Authority ร‚ยง 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to procure a sole source contract with TrillaMed, LLC for items and components to the Central Station Patient Monitors for the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, Illinois. The VA requires a contractor with expertise and experience in the area of medical equipment Carescape Patient Care Monitors. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) only one source reasonably available. This will be a firm fixed price contract for a one time buy. The applicable NAICS Code is 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing). This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service to the Contracting Officer by 4:00PM (CST) March 7, 2017. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with TrillaMed, LLC.
