The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to FEI Company, 5350 NE Dawson Creek Drive, Hillsboro, OR 97124-5793, for continued maintenance on one Technai Spirit Transmission Microscope and AMT camera. This annual agreement will provide repair and preventative maintenance for FEI's electron microscope with embedded AMT camera and accessories, and includes engineering upgrades and modification. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
