Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation number is 36C262-18-U-0094 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Department of Veterans Affairs. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. This requirement is an open market SDVOSB set aside and only qualified offerors may submit quotes.
The Department of Veterans Affairs Los Angeles Healthcare System intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price contract for the following requirement:
CRYOSTAR NX50 HD Low Profile
6640-540500 Microtome #95 711 0L 1 Each
Estimated Freight (not to exceed $249.00) 1 S&H
Delivery FOB destination, VA Los Angeles Healthcare System, CA 90073.
Quotes must be good for a minimum of 30 calendar days after close of buy. Terms are Net 30.
In addition to price, responses shall include the following:
No remanufactures or gray market items/ supplies will not be acceptable. Interested parties of RFQ must be an authorized reseller, distributor, or dealer of the O.E.M. (Original Equipment Manufacturer) No exceptions. Verification can be provided by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM. Equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions.
To be eligible for award of a Government contract, contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The link to the website is https://www.sam.gov. The selected offeror must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions, which are incorporated herein by reference:

All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.

[email protected]. It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit quotes by the closing date of 8/30/2018 at 3:00 PM Pacific Time.
Award will be made based on the contractor s ability to provide brand name as described above and the lowest price responsive offered. By submission of its offer, the Offeror accepts all solicitation requirements, including terms and conditions. Failure to meet a requirement may result in an offer being determined unacceptable. The Government intends to select ONE contractor for award of this requirement.
