This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is and VA24115Q0128 is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. After conducting market research, this solicitation has been set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The Radiology Department at VA Boston Healthcare System has a need for custom Medline brand procedure trays to be used during various procedures in the Interventional Radiology Suite. These custom trays are needed for PICC line placements, drainage procedures and angiography procedures. The customized trays must include the safety components as listed in tray descriptions in order to ensure safe working environment and compliance with safety requirements regulated by VHA, The Joint Commission and other accrediting bodies. The use of the standardized trays in Interventional Radiology will allow for decreased set up time, improved patient flow and reduced inventory costs and variation.
