This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound will be soliciting for 3 Each HOPKINS II 0 DEGREE TELESCOPE 4MM X 30CM, HOPKINS II 30 DEGREE TELESCOPE 4MM X 30CM, HOPKINS II 70 DEGREE TELESCOPE 4MMX 30CM, TELESCOPE BRIDGE WITH ONE CURVED INSTUMENT CHANNEL, TELESCOPE BRIDGE WITH TWO CURVED INSTRUMENT CHANNELS, CATHETER DEFLECTING MECHANISM WITH 2 INSTRUMENT CHANNELS WITH RATCHET for the U.S. Naval Hospital in Yokosuka, Japan. Specific information will be listed in the solicitation will be posted to the NECO website on or about 25 April 2011. Items are anticipated to be negotiated on a sole source basis with KARL STORZ per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A Firm-Fixed Price, Supply type contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13.5, Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This procurement is intended as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, under the SBA Non-Manufacturer Waiver information. Terms will be FOB Destination, through Travis AFB in CA – for shipment to Yokosuka, Japan. Specific shipping instructions will be identified at time of award. Delivery of items expected to be on or before 15 April 2011. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FISCPS.
