This FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY announcement is a notice that TRICARE S outheast that include all DOD Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Southcom are in the process of standardizing Disposable Antiseptic Pads/Swabsticks and Wipes as listed in the subject line above. Companies with current Distribution and Pricing Agreements (DAPAs) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia for these items are eligible to participate in the standardization process. Base company criteria for this product l ine includes but is not limited to the following: must carry a full product line, must provide customer support, in the form of a sales representative for each MTF within TRICARE Region Southeast, must provide clinical support, education programs, and uti lization reports, must provide companys return policy, must provide companys distribution network, must be able to provide product for all MTFs within TRICARE Region Southeast, and must provide electronic and hard-copy of proposed pricing and competitive p roduct cross-reference. Base product criteria for this product line (alcohol, povidone-iodine, nail polish remover, baby wipes and towelettes) includes but is not limited to the following: a. Products are manufactured according to FDA, GMP, and USP requirements. b. Products latex free. c. Products low-lint or lint-free. d. Full product line of skin pads, towelettes, swabsticks, and wipes in a variety of sizes. e. Alcohol prep pads available in sterile and non-sterile and contain 70% isopropyl alcohol. f. Povidone iodine (PVP) prep pads and swabsticks contain 10% povidone iodine prep solution. g. PVP swabsticks available in single and triple configurations. h. Nail polish remover pads are acetone free. i. Skin pads, towelettes, swab sticks, and wipes have perfumes or substances that are non-irritating to the skin. j. Skin pads, towelettes, swab sticks, and wipes products can be used for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations. k. Baby wipes are alcohol free. l. Towelette and wipe products available in re-closable/re-sealable packages. m. Size and type of product is easily identified from the packaging. Respondents must address all criteria listed above.
