In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center intends to award on a sole-source basis, under the procedures set forth in FAR 6.302-1, a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order, to Olympus America, Inc. for Olympus Endoworks System. This software system integrates clinical images and patient information into a standardized electronic report which can be stored in VISTA imaging. Customized documentation templates can also be created to increase efficiency. This software system is compatible with our current endoscopy workstations. Essentially, endoscopic images that are currently taken will be transmitted electronically into VISTA Imaging. Additionally, these images can be labeled and placed into an electronic report detailing the procedure. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received by March 28, 2012 by 4:00 PM ET. Responses shall be submitted to [email protected]. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
