Notice of Intent for Sole Source

The Southern Regional Contracting Office, Brooke Army Medical Center intends to
award a sole source contract to Intuitive Surgical to purchase Endowrist Instruments for a Government owned DaVinci Surgical System. Intuitive Surgical is the manufacturer of the endowrist instruments and is the sole source provider of all components needed to operate the DaVinci Surgical System. Award will be made on 22 Apr 2014. The NAICS code of this procurement is 339112 and the size standard is 500 employees. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
