The Ever Crossâ„¢ 0.035" OTW PTA Dilatation Catheter is an over the wire (OTW) 0.035" dual lumen catheter (1) with a distally mounted semi-compliant inflatable balloon (2) and antraumatic tapered tip (3). The distal portion of the catheter has a hydrophilic coating (4). The manifold (5) includes a lumen marked "THRU" (6). This is the central lumen of the catheter, which terminates at the distal tip. This lumen is used to pass the catheter over a guide-wire with a maximum diameter of 0.035". The lumen marked "BALLOON" (7) is the balloon inflation lumen, which is used to inflate and deflate the dilatation balloon with a mixture of contrast medium and saline solution. The balloon has two radiopaque markers (8) for positioning the balloon relative to the stenosis. The radiopaque marker bands indicate the dilating or working section of the balloon (9). The Ever Cross 0.035" OTW PTA Dilatation Catheter is available in multiple balloon sizes. Nominal balloon diameter and length are printed on the strain relief (10). All balloons distend to sizes above the nominal size at pressures greater than the nominal pressure " Nano Cross .014 PTA Balloon Catheter DEVICE DESCRIPTION Dilatation balloon catheters are used to exert radial force to dilate narrow vessel segments. The Nano-Crossâ„¢ .014" OTW PTA Dilatation Catheter is an over the wire (OTW) 0.014" coaxial lumen catheter (1) with a distally mounted semi-compliant inflatable balloon (2) and an atraumatic tapered tip (3). The distal portion of the catheter and the balloon has a hydrophilic coating (4). The manifold (5) includes a lumen marked "THRU" (6). This is the central lumen of the catheter, which terminates at the distal tip. This lumen is used to pass the catheter over a guide-wire with a maximum diameter of 0.014". The lumen marked "BALLOON" (7) is the balloon inflation lumen, which is used to inflate and deflate the dilatation balloon with a mixture of contrast medium and saline solution. All balloons have two radiopaque marker bands (8) for positioning the balloon working area (9). On the 210 mm device, two additional marker bands (11) denote the middle of the balloon body (9). The 210 mm device includes a tapered balloon that tapers 0.5 mm proximal to distal. For the 210 mm device, the labeled balloon diameter on the strain relief indicates the proximal balloon diameter. Refer to package label for additional information. All balloons distend to sizes above the nominal size at pressures greater than the nominal pressure. " Protégé™ Ever-Flexâ„¢ Self-Expanding Biliary Stent DEVICE DESCRIPTION The Protégé™ Ever Flexâ„¢ Self-Expanding Biliary Stent System is a self-expanding Nitinol stent system designed for the palliative treatment of malignant neoplasms in the biliary tree. The self-expanding stent is made of a nickel titanium alloy (Nitinol)and comes pre-mounted on a 6F 0.035" over-the-wire delivery system. The stent is cut from a Nitinol tube into an open lattice design and has tantalum radiopaque markers at the proximal and distal ends of the stent. Upon deployment, the stent achieves its predetermined diameter and exerts a constant, gentle outward force to establish patency in the biliary ducts. The Delivery System is comprised of an inner shaft (1) and outer (2) sheath, which are locked together with a safety lock (3). The nylon inner shaft terminates distally in a flexible catheter tip (4) and originates proximally at the hub (5). Two radiopaque markers, one marker distal (6) and one marker/retainer proximal (7) to the constrained stent, are on the inner shaft. The outer sheath connects proximally to the Y-adapter (8). The self-expanding stent is constrained within the space between the inner shaft and outer sheath. This space is flushed prior to the procedure through the stopcock (9). The outer sheath has a radiopaque marker at its distal end (10). Stent positioning at the target stricture is achieved prior to deployment by utilizing the two radiopaque markers on the inner shaft, and the radiopaque markers on the stent. For stent deployment, the safety lock is turned counterclockwise to unlock the outer sheath. The outer sheath retraction is achieved by pulling the distal grip (11) toward the proximal grip (12). Complete deployment of the stent is achieved when the radiopaque marker on the outer sheath " Spider FX Distal Protection Device PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The Spider FX Embolic Protection Device is a percutaneously delivered distal embolic protection device, designed to capture and remove dislodged debris during interventional procedures. The Spider FX Device Capture Wire is used as the 0.014 in. wire for interventional device delivery. The Spider FX Device can be delivered over any 0.014 in. or 0.018 in. primary wire used to gain access to the lesion site. The Spider FX Embolic Protection Device package contains the following components: One Capture Wire composed of a nitinol mesh Filter with a Distal Floppy Tip, mounted on a 190 cm or a convertible 320/190 cm PTFE-coated 0.014 in. stainless steel wire. The Filter features a heparin-coating designed to maintain patency during Filter deployment1. This Capture Wire acts as the primary guide-wire for other interventional devices compatible with a 0.014 in. wire. This convertible Capture Wire is scored, allowing the wire to be snapped to a 190 cm usable length for use with rapid exchange systems, if desired. The distal portion of the Capture Wire for rapid exchange use is gold. The proximal portion for standard over-the-wire use is black. 1 The heparin coating is intended to maintain Filter patency, and should not have a systemic effect in the patient. One dual-ended Spider FX Catheter used to exchange the primary access guide-wire with the Capture Wire, deploy the Capture Wire at the desired location, and recover the Capture Wire at the end of the procedure. One 23 gauge Blunt Needle for attachment to a syringe with Luer connector for priming and flushing the Catheter. Components are delivered sterile, for use within a single vessel only. Do not re-sterilize or reuse. 1. DELIVERY ORDERS: The delivery order shall specify: contract item (s) and quantity, time (s) of delivery and applicable VA order number.
