In accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (c )(1), the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to perform oral solicitations for 16 EA Ritter 225 Barrier-Free Power Exam Tables will be set-aside for SDVOSB s. To be considered eligible for award all SDVOSB s must be registered/verified through Vetbiz.gov. If you wish to be included in this solicitation, please respond electronically to [email protected] by 5PM PST Monday June 4th 2018. This solicitation will be performed Tuesday June 5th 2018. This will be a brand name or equal to solicitation to the following Items Manufactured by Midmark: Surgical Lights Qty. Part Description 16 EA 225-003 RITTER 225 BARRIER-FREE POWER EXAM TABLE W/RECEPTACLE, PELVIC TILT 16 EA UPHOLSTERY TOP FOR RITTER 225 BARRIER-FREE POWER EXAM TABLE - SEAMLESS The following are for the Surgical Light and meet minimum salient characteristics to be technically acceptable: The Examination table is required to raise and lower so that the Veteran can safely get on the table and to prevent injury to staff this needs to be powered. The Examination table is required to raise and lower the backrest so that that the Veteran can safely get comfortable and as some do not tolerate laying without respiratory distress on the table and to prevent injury to staff this needs to be powered. The examination table needs to have a 400 pound weight limit for safety purposes due to a potentially obese Veteran. The examination table needs to have pelvic stirrups so that all examination rooms in primary care can meet the needs of the Woman Veteran. The examination table needs to have a warming drawer so that all examination rooms in primary care can meet the needs of the Woman Veteran. The examination table needs to have pelvic tilt so that all examination rooms in primary care can meet the needs of the Woman Veteran. The examination table needs to be barrier free/non-porous/seamless material to ensure it can be adequately cleaned between Veterans. The examination table needs to have additional electric plug for light source associated with Women s Health procedures. The examination table needs to have a slide out footrest so that once the Veteran is positioned he/she can have feet supported. The examination table must have low FLAT-back position at 18" for true safe patient handling and wheelchair transfer. Logistics currently supplies Primary Care with required 21 paper rolls. The dimensions of the examination table are as follows: 59x28x18-37 (in) The space in primary care examination rooms will accommodate these dimensions. All Equipment must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. (a) Gray market items are Original Equipment Manufacturer s (OEM) goods sold through unauthorized channels in direct competition with authorized distributors. This procurement is for new OEM medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts) for VA Medical Centers. No remanufactures or gray market items will be acceptable. (b) Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts), verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM.
