FISC Norfolk Contracting Department Philadelphia Office intends to procure FACSCanto Flow Cytometer reagents and controls for the performance of serological and complex laboratory testing in support of the National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) Bethesda, MD. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N00189-07-Q-NNMC. Award of a Firm Fixed Price procurement is anticipated. Delivery of supplies is estimated at a minimum of 1,100 per month during the period encompassing 16 April 2007 through 30 September 2007. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract action is for supplies the Government intends to procure with only one source, BD Biosciences, 2350 Qume Drive, San Jose, CA 95131-1807. This combined synopsis solicitation is not a request for competitive proposals. The NACIS CODE is 334516; size standard is 500 employees. The period of performance for the resultant purchase order is 16 April 2007 through 30 September 2007. The offeror is required to price the following requirements: CLIN 0001: BD FACSCanto system tests, reagents and controls (monthly volume of 1,100 test per month) inclusive of the BD FACSCanto system, Loader, Lyse/Wash Assistance and BD Services and Training – 1 LOT. Delivery will be FOB Destination, all transportation charges paid by the Contractor to NNMC. Inspection and Acceptance shall be performed at destination by the receiving activity, NNMC.
