NOTICE OF INTENT The 37th Contracting Squadron, Lackland Air Force Base intends to award a sole source contract to Thermo Fisher Scientific, 401 Millcreek Rd., OH 45750 for the acquisition of Qty. (1) Forma Blast Freezer. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to award to one source under authority of FAR 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals received within seven business days after date of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of request for quotation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal by close of business on Tuesday, 08 Jan 08, which will be considered by the agency. No solicitation or request for quote is available.
