MEDCOM, North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office, Fort Belvoir, VA intends to solicit, negotiate, and award Blank Purchase Agreements for commercial items/services to multiple vendors for medical implants, components, instruments, and all associated items from vendors' commercial catalog/pricelist, as needed. Moreover, the items/services solicited will generally fall within Federal Supply Classes (FSC) such as: 58, 60, 61, 65, 66, 68,70,74 as these classes and other not listed, apply to medical and hospital needs or requirements. Other applicable categories that may be awarded BPAs are service/maintenance/repair agreements, as such relates to medical and hospital related equipment/instruments/items. Accordingly, in-accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 )(as well as, FAR Part 5.203) on or about the 28th of August 2013, this office intends to start the referenced solicitation process. These agreements may be issued for five (5) years. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to future requirements Not Later Than (NLT): 28th August 2013. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete these proposed agreements is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received relative to the above notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to establish future Blanket Purchase Agreements. The Agreements will include but are not limited to coverage of the following Fort Belvoir Community Hospital functional areas:

Hospital Related General/Equipment/Software Maintenance Service Agreements
Medical/Surgical Components
Medical/Surgical Instruments
Medical/Surgical Implants
Medical/Surgical Supplies
Medical/Surgical Equipment
Hospital/Medical/Surgical Associated Items to the list above
