Surgical Service requests an urgent purchase of 1 Gyrus generator, 1 footswitch, and 1 cord angle connector (hospital grade). The generator will work in conjunction with the DaVinci robot that is being installed in Operating Room (OR) 7, and will allow the robot to grasp and manipulate it to control bleeding. Additionally, the robot will interface with the Olympus monitors to project images of the surgery for the controlling surgeon to view.
