This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and Far Part 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as Request for Quote # VA-246-10-RQ-0361. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most recent Federal Acquisition Circular. The NAICS Code is 423450. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Beckley West Virginia, has a requirement for two Evis Exera 11 HD NBI Gastroscope. The Hospital requires additional scopes to be able to maintain volume. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit quotes and award a firm fixed price contract. Contractor shall provide the following equipment/supplies: (1) Evis Exera 11 HD NBI Gastroscope. The following provisions apply to this solicitation: 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal, 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial , Commercial Advertising, 852.271-70, 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial, including clauses incorporated by reference under Section b (1)(5)(11-16)(23-24); Offerors are to submit pricing. Process of determining contract award: award will be to the lowest-priced responsive, responsible bidder who can provide a vehicle that meets the required specifications.
