Synopsis: In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 5.201, this is a notice of the VA's intent to enter into a sole source contract with Boston Scientific Corporation for SpyGlass Direct Visulization System Probe. This probe is designed to provide direct visualization for examination for diagnostic and therapeutic applications during endoscopic procedures in the biliary system including the hepatic ducts. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement. The suggested contractor is Boston Scientific Corporation 1 Boston Scientific Place, Natick MA 01760-1537 This is not a solicitation. However, companies which assert that they can provide this product or an equal product that is compatible with the SpyGlass Direct Visualization System should submit information to include technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price, product availability and delivery time.
