Offerors may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature of their proposed product. Offerors must identify their product as "brand name or equalââ¬ï¿½. The ââ¬Åequalââ¬ï¿½ product must have the same physical, functional, or performance characteristics as the items reference above. The ââ¬Åequalââ¬ï¿½ product must be capable of interfacing with the existing VA system, in terms of network and integration with the VAââ¬â¢s Electronic Health Record system: VistA and CPRS. The hemodialysis unit specifications are as follows:

ââ¬Â¢ Units weight less than 220 pounds for usability and portability
ââ¬Â¢ System can be disinfected using Citric/thermal programmable cycles
ââ¬Â¢ Units require annual preventative maintenance (PM) checks
ââ¬Â¢ User-defined, linear, and exponential profiles available for chemicals
ââ¬Â¢ User-defined profiles available for medications
ââ¬Â¢ System can continuously and accurately monitor and trend the dialysis dose (Kt/V or URR) in real time for effective treatment
ââ¬Â¢ System has airless bloodline that allow for improvements in Kt/V parameter
ââ¬Â¢ Patient specific profiles that can be transferred between units via removable media for subsequent treatments
ââ¬Â¢ Unit is a PC based platform
ââ¬Â¢ System configurations can be transferred between units
ââ¬Â¢ System software upgrades can be uploaded to units through removable media
ââ¬Â¢ Units includes automated blood pressure monitors
ââ¬Â¢ Unit offers Ethernet connection capability
ââ¬Â¢ Unit includes online treatment parameters trending

ââ¬Â¢ System must be compatible and integrated with the proprietary VA patient record systems VistA, specifically the VAââ¬â¢s CP-HEMO application
Offerors response shall include the Offerors Company Name, DUNS number, address, point of contact, title, phone number and email address. Offeror shall also identify their type of business (Small or large) and socioeconomic status whether Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned, Hubzone, 8(a), Woman owned, Small Disadvantaged, etc. The NAICs code for this is 39112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing (size standard of 500). After review of the responses to the sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be published on the FBO website. Responses to the sources sought notice are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested parties will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to the sources sought notice. Interested parties are reminded to register with the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts.
