The Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, MS, intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with VIASYS Healthcare, Yorba Linda, CA. This contract will be for a high frequency oscillatory ventillator, Model 3100B, used to help patient who suffers from ARDS. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and other than full and open competition in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1) (SOLE SOURCE) FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii).
