The Veterans Affairs Special Services (VASS) intends to negotiate sole source procurement with Dentsply International Inc., Dentsply Rinn Division of Elgin IL IAW the authority in FAR 6302-1. This proposed procurement action is for 14 DXTTR III Human Skulls for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339114 and the size standard is 500.  This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 3 days from the date of publication of this announcement. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact.  Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
