DESCRIPTION: VA Nebraska Western Iowa Healthcare System VA Network 23 Education Office intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) contract with O.R. Solutions Inc, 3901Center View Dr., Chantilly, VA 2015. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) FAC 2005-04. This procurement is to obtain a HUSH-SLUSH Machine, ORS-1075HS or equivalent. Contractors will provide descriptive literature along with their proposals. The machine has the features we need during surgical procedures. Warranty is one year. This item is designed to produce sterile ice slush used in surgical procedures by freezing saline solution. It may also include provisions for heating the solution. This machine is to be used with the kidney transplant program. THIS NOTICE IS A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All proposals received by 4:00 P.M. Pacific Time, May 16, 2007, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
