PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This is a commercial item acquisition for the purchase of the following Ortho Clinical Immunohematology products for VISN 1 Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) for manual testing in the Laboratories within VISN 1 as listed herein, as requested by authorized VA Staff, in order to support several VA Medical Centers within the VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS). The Ortho Clinical Immunohematology products listed below are a list of the requested items. The vendor must provide reagent products that are convenient for manual Blood Bank testing. The products must be of high quality and the cells prediluted as needed for testing reducing tech time and chance of error. The applicable NAICS code is 325412 and the size standard is 750 employees. The solicitation package will be issued on or about August 24th , 2012. The date for receipt of quotes is scheduled for September 7h , 2012 at 12:00 pm. The government anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract as a result of the solicitation. The solicitation may be downloaded from FedBizOpps.
