This FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY announcement is a notice that TRICARE Regions 3, 4, and 15 that includes all DoD Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee are in the process of standardizing Intravenous Solutions as listed in the subject line above. Thes e include: intra-venous injection solutions in all sizes with and without electrolyte additives, sterile irrigation solutions and dialysate may also be considered pending further information. Companies with current Distribution and Pricing Agreements (DA PA’s) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) for these items are eligible to participate in the standardization process. Base company criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: must carry a full line of intravenous solutions, must provide customer support in the form of a sales representative for each MTF within TRICARE Regions 3, 4, and 15 , and must provide clinical support, education programs, and utilization reports, must provide company’s return policy, must provide company’s distribution network, must be able to provide product for all MTFs within TRICARE Regions 3, 4, and 15, and must provide electronic and hard-copy of proposed pricing and competitive product cross-reference. Base product criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: must meet all current regulatory standards, must be individually wrapped, must be available in standard volume size increments, must be compatible with administration sets (spikes) of all major manufacturers. Respondents must address all criteria listed above.
