Looking for potential sources to perform the following work: Intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT)system for the Department of Radiation Therapy shall include the following equipment and capabilities: (1) IMRT Treatment Planning System hardware comprising (a) workstation, computers; printer. (2) IMRT Treatment Planning System software , (a) to create highly conformal IMRT plans based on direct or fused CT, MRI and PET images, (b) with appropriate security controls at all stages of planning, (c) with modules that include image registration, anatomy definition, dose prescription, display results, interactive dose shaping of plans, (d) user control over delivery vs. conformality, (e) IMRT plans deliverable through all major linac MLC options and vendor’s hardware. (3) IMRT Delivery System comprising hardware, capability and services, (a) to modulate the beam across the target, (b) to treat multiple targets concurrently, (c) to deliver large field treatments, (d) to deliver fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy, (e) to deliver stereotactic radiosurgery, (f) with precision automated couch control system, (g) with IMRT QA phantom, (h) compatible with department’s Varian linear accelerator. (4) Ultrasound Image Guidance System for stereotactic tumor localization, (a) real-time image acquisition and contour matching in axial, sagittal and oblique planes, (b) capable of imaging prostate, abdominal cavity targets and lymph nodes, (c) seamless integration with vendor’s IMRT solution. (5) General Requirements, (a) turn-key, networkable solution, (b) on-site and factory training for physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, therapists and biomedical engineers, (c) installation, (d) physics commissioning, (e) warranty.
